Founded by George and Sara Sellers in 1921, Sellers Bros. is a family-owned and operated retail grocery store chain that serves Houston, Texas. Throughout our history, we have continued to keep pace with the changing marketplace and meet the needs of our loyal grocery customers while maintaining the original Sellers philosophy.
At Sellers Bros., we aim to connect with and understand our customers’ unique preferences while delivering friendly service as well as fresh foods at affordable, everyday low prices and super hot deals.
We are grateful for all of our associates who are among the very best and most dedicated grocery personnel in the industry and for you, our loyal customers. Serving you and our local community is our pleasure, and we are proud to be Houstonians.
At Sellers Bros., we know giving back to the community and supporting those in need is an honor, a privilege and our social responsibility. Each year, we’re thankful that we can support local church groups and schools as well as many other organizations. We sponsor two events annually including a charity fishing tournament and Making Strides Against Breast Cancer through the American Cancer Society. Our fishing tournament benefits Operation Finally Home, a program which sponsors wounded Soldiers who have served our country in Iraq and Afghanistan. Making Strides Against Breast Cancer benefits women afflicted by the disease who are underserved and uninsured in our area.
Currently, we employ over 1,000 associates throughout Sellers Bros. twelve grocery store supermarkets, five convenience stores, a personnel office, one maintenance department and a corporate office. Every day, we focus on exceeding our customers’ expectations. We believe honesty, integrity and hard work are the key ingredients in the recipe for success.
