At Sellers Bros. grocery stores and convenience stores, we are thankful for the opportunity to give back to the local community and make a difference in our world. We understand that families endure unforeseen hardships, and we take great pride that we can do our part. At Sellers Bros., we know that being able to support those in need is an honor, a privilege and our social responsibility. So, we're very grateful that we can help our local church groups and schools as well as many other organizations.

Each year, Sellers Bros. sponsors two major events including a charity fishing tournament and Making Strides Against Breast Cancer through the American Cancer Society.

  • Since 2006, our fishing tournament has benefited Operation Finally Home. This program builds and donates homes to wounded soldiers who have served in the Iraq or Afghanistan war, so they can start a new life upon returning home.
  • Making Strides Against Breast Cancer benefits women afflicted by the disease who are underserved and uninsured in our area. Dollars raised through the Making Strides events help the American Cancer Society save lives by helping people stay well, helping people get well, finding cures through groundbreaking research, and fighting back. Since 1993, nearly 6 million walkers have raised more than $400 million through the American Cancer Society Making Strides events.

At Sellers Bros., we understand the importance of supporting local programs. Therefore, we band together to provide as much assistance as possible to achieve a stronger and healthier community.
